Ingredients & substances
Below the parts sits the chemistry, every constituent with its CAS, EC and INCI identity and its percentage, rolled up so you know what a finished product is really made of.

A worked example
Take a single moisturiser
- It’s a product, drafted from a reusable model that carried its form and its calculators.
- Its bill of materials is the recipe: the cream base and the tube it fills, each built up from their own raw materials.
- Its constituents are the substances inside (aqua, glycerin, parfum), each with its identity and percentage.
- Its packaging is the tube, cap, box and label, with their materials and recyclability.
- It lives under a brand, range and category, so it can be reported on alongside its family.
From that one description Gaiatix produces cost, sustainability score and compliance status, keeping all three current as the formulation, packaging or supplier price moves.
